Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated June 26, 2026
This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be readable on purpose, the same way we write everything else.
Who we are. Kingpost and Kingpost Partners are brand names used by ApertureAI LLC ("we," "us"). This policy covers our website at kingpostpartners.com and the services we run from it, including our founding-offer application, customer onboarding, and optional phone and text setup.
A quick note on scope. If you're a homeowner who received a review-request text or visited a roofing company's website that we built, the roofing company is responsible for its own site and its own privacy practices. The one place we handle homeowner information directly is described under "Information we handle for our roofing clients" below.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us, join a waitlist, apply for the founding offer, book a call, complete onboarding, or set up phone and text features, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include:
- your name, business name, email, and phone number;
- details about your current website, team size, and service area;
- your website preferences and the assets you upload, such as logos and photos;
- if you set up call tracking or SMS, the business registration details carriers require for messaging approval, which can include your legal business name, business address, a tax identification number such as an EIN, and the name and contact details of an authorized representative.
Payment information. When you put a card on file, your payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We don't receive or store your full card number. We do keep records such as your Stripe customer reference, your card-on-file status, and related transaction identifiers.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit our site, some information is collected automatically:
- Usage and device data through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, for example, pages viewed and basic events like starting an application or booking a call.
- IP address and request information such as your browser type, which our hosting and security providers, Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile, process to deliver the site and protect our forms from abuse.
- Cookies and similar technologies set by us or by the third-party tools we use. See "Cookies, analytics, and advertising" below.
Information from third parties. When you book a call through our scheduling tool, we receive the booking details you provided to it, such as your name, email, and the time you selected.
Information we handle for our roofing clients. Our review-request feature lets an approved roofing company send a review invitation by text. To do that, the roofing company provides us with a customer's name and mobile number and confirms that the customer agreed to receive the message. We process that information only to send the review request and a reminder on the roofing company's behalf. We don't use it for our own marketing.
How we use information
- respond to you and provide the services you ask for;
- review applications, set up accounts, build and run your website, and handle billing;
- complete carrier registration for optional phone and text features;
- operate, secure, and improve our site and services;
- measure and improve our own advertising; and
- send you service messages and, where appropriate, respond to questions.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics and advertising tags on our site. Through it we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Depending on our current configuration, we may also use advertising tags from providers such as Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn, and OpenAI to measure and improve the ads that bring people to our site.
Your controls. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and you can adjust ad personalization directly with the major platforms, for example Google Ads Settings and Meta's ad preferences. To request that we stop using your information for targeted advertising, contact us at privacy@kingpostpartners.com.
How we share your information
We don't sell your personal information for money. We do share it with the service providers ("subprocessors") that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do their job:
- Stripe - payment processing and card-on-file management.
- Supabase - our database and account sign-in.
- Cloudflare (Pages, Functions, R2, KV, Turnstile) - hosting, file storage, bot protection, and request logging.
- Resend - sending email, including notifications, account emails, and sign-in links.
- Twilio - sending review-request and reminder text messages.
- Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) and the advertising platforms named above - analytics and advertising.
- Our scheduling provider - handling call bookings.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.
A note for California residents: we use advertising and analytics tools that may share certain online-activity information with platforms like Google and Meta to measure and improve our ads. Under California law, this can be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out by contacting us at privacy@kingpostpartners.com.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need it to provide the services, run our business, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. Billing and tax records are kept for the periods the law requires.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of certain uses such as targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us at privacy@kingpostpartners.com. We'll respond as the law requires, and we won't treat you differently for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including trusted providers, access controls, and bot protection on our forms. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Our site and services are meant for businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at privacy@kingpostpartners.com and we'll delete it.
Where your information is processed
We're based in the United States, and we and our service providers process your information in the United States. Some providers may process data in other countries according to their own terms.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new date. For significant changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
